Durian. World’s football association FIFA said on Oct.24 that Indonesia to host U-20 World Cup in 2021 as also twitted by the country’s President Joko Widodo, who popular known as Jokowi.
“There is good news from FIFA Council Meeting in Shanghai today: Indonesia was elected as the host country of U-20 World Cup in 2021. Indonesia prepares ten stadiums [ranging] from Gelora Bung Karno [in Jakarta], Pekasari in Bogor to Mahanan in Solo to welcome the big event,” the president twitted.

The announcement came a day after Jokowi announced and inaugurated its new cabinet members including youth affairs and sports minister.
Jokowi has asked the newly appointed Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Zainuddin Amali during the introduction session on Oct.23 to pay attention on football.
FIFA Council in its announcement in Shanghai also mentioning China as the host of Club Word Cup, Peru for U-17 World Cup and Russia for Beach Soccer World Cup next year.
